This tour will take you through the Beemster, which is Unesco World Heritage Site. The area is famous for its history of water management. The Beemster was dried in 1609 because the Dutch wanted more land. During the tour you will visit multiple small and beautiful towns with each it’s own character. You will drive across the typical ‘stolp’ farms, the windmills of Schermerhorn and beautiful churches. in Spring you can also admire the colorful bulbfieldi lined up between the windmills.
