When visiting the Netherlands in Spring, it's a must to visit the Keukenhof flower gardens. Each year, the flower park is open from the last week of March until the 2nd or 3rd week of May. 

Keukenhof is the largest exhibition of Hollands' finest flowers, including the famous tulip. You'll be amazed by the beautiful gardends with flowers in different colors, shapes and frangrances. You can visit the exhibition called Tulpomania, where you will learn about extraordinary tulips, such as the black Tulip, and about the history of the Tulip. 

While in the park, there are several options to enjoy some coffee, tea and lunch.

Keukenhof is open from March 21 to May 10 from 08:00 – 19:30. The ticket office is open from 08:00 – 18:00.

Accessibility information

Keukenhof offers good accessibility for people with access needs.

  • All the paths are flat and wide, sometimes bendy or a little bit upwards.
  • All the buildings provide an adapted toilet, except for the Japanese Garden and Adjacent forest.
  • The restaurants are wheelchair accessible.
  • Wheelchairs are available for hire at the entrance of the park. It is advised to book the wheelchair at least one day in advance.
  • Guide dogs are allowed in the Keukenhof, in the restaurants and exhibition rooms.
  • A First Aid post is present in the Keukenhof near the Wilhemina Pavilion.
