Each Saturday in March, April, May and June, you can subscribe for the accessible rolling and walking tour of Amsterdam. The tour starts at 10:00 and ends at 14:00.
Explore the historical highlights of Amsterdam on a comfortable pace with a local knowledgeable guide. This wheelchair accessible guided tour starts in the Red Light District which is located in the oldest parts of the city centre. During the tour, you will learn about the history, local recent developments, the architecture and infrastructure of Amsterdam.
During the guided tour, there's time to take a break for a coffee or a local beer. The tour continues along the canals of the old city centre and crosses through to 't Spui and Begijnhof, a secluded peaceful historical hidden courtyard. In addition, You will visit the Royal Palace and the Old Church of Amsterdam.
We can provide a wheelchair or mobility scooter for participants of this tour. These can be rented for the day of the tour, but the rental period can also be extended. Please indicate your interest in the 'remarks' space, when entering your booking request.
The starting point of the tour, the Doubletree by Hilton Amsterdam Central Station, is located nearby Amsterdam Central Station. The hotel can be reached by tram, metro or bus.
