Besides walking through the beautiful old city centre with its canals, you will not get the full Delft experience unless you visit the Royal Delft. It is definitely worth a visit since it’s the last remaining Delft Blue earthenware factory from the 17th century. You will not only discover the ancient history of the factory and see a large variety of the Delftware collection, but you will also get to follow the production process of Royal Delftware. In fact: up to this day you will see craftsmen ánd a Royal Delft painter producing the Delftware by hand according to age-old traditions.
It is also possible to paint one of the products yourself during a workshop. Workshops are daily at 14:30, minimum of two persons. Contact us for more information.
