Accessible History Tour of Amsterdam

Explore the old city centre of Amsterdam with a local guide!

Explore Amsterdam on your own pace with a local knowledgeable guide. This wheelchair accessible guided tour starts in the Red Light District which is located in the oldest parts of the city centre. During the tour, you will learn about the history, local recent developments, the architecture and infrastructure of Amsterdam. During the guided tour, there's time to take a break for a coffee or a local beer. The tour continues along the canals of the old city centre and crosses through to 't Spui and Begijnhof, a secluded peaceful historical courtyard.  

Our tour guides are specialized in accessibility and know which routes are the most convenient for you. If you want to rest, just let the guide know and he'll find a nice restaurant to relax and have a drink.

During this tour, the tour guide will choose a wheelchair accessible route through the city. All the venues that are visited during the tour, have accessible entrances. The locations have been checked for accessibility for wheelchair users by Accessible Travel Netherlands.

How to get there?

The Accessible Guided Tour of Amsterdam starts from you hotel, if it's located in the centre of Amsterdam. If it's not in the centre of Amsterdam, the meeting place can be decided on with you and the tour guide. We will advise how to reach the city centre and meeting exact location, either by public transport or accessible taxi.

Terms and conditions

The price for our Accessible Guided Tour in Amsterdam is €200,- for groups up to 10 people. Based on 10 particpants, the price per person is €20,-.
