This 3-hour guided tour enables you to learn about the Jewish history of Amsterdam. You’ll visit heritage sites that relate to the Jewish community in Amsterdam. The tour guide will take you to locations that have a strong connection with the Jewish culture in the past and in the present. You will learn about history of the 2nd World War and the tragic consequences for the people of Amsterdam. Anne Frank is one of the most well known persons having written about her life. You will learn more about her and about other residents of Amsterdam with a Jewish background. After the guided tour, you’ll have the opportunity to visit the Jewish History Museum and the Portuguese Synagoge (on your own).
